Bassett hound

History: at the end of the 16th century, it was produced by French improved varieties, and the English name (Basset) is derived from French (bas). The dog has a special head and a keen sense of smell, which can be seen as an improved breed from a bloodhound to a small breed, which was introduced into England in the 19th century.
